Abstract (eng): In this thesis various solutions for sensorless control of a doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) are examined.
The DFIG is a generator type frequently employed in modern variable-speed wind turbines.
The specific system under study is a controller for a DFIG that employs the well-known DTC control method.
Sensor less control of a DFIG is mainly concerned with estimating the rotor position without the presence of a rotor speed or position measuring device.
Particularly one sensor less control method is analysed more thoroughly.
The method is a rotor flux MRAS observer that uses a phase-locked loop for finding the correct rotor position estimate.

Controller implementation and simulation results are presented.
Simulations show that the proposed MRAS observer is well suited for snowless control of a DFIG.
Operation at synchronous speed is no problem, and during steady-state is the estimated rotor position error virtually zero.
The performance of the sensorless control system is in most situations comparable to the speed-sensored system.
