Abstract (eng): Today's world is permeated by a constant flow of information.
Life in the information age depends on having all the information we need at our fingertips at any given time.
This information may be from the social media or another immaterial source, but it can also be collected from the environment.
Networks of sensors can be deployed to collect metrics from our surroundings.
To provide this information as a cloud service resource, an intermediary is required to connect the wireless sensor network to a cloud service.

This thesis investigates the possibility to access a wireless sensor network via a cloud service and makes two contributions: a proof-of concept implementation of a system for connecting wireless sensor networks to a cloud service, using a proxy server to relay the messages between the sensor network and the cloud, and an experiment that tests the system in a simulated environment.

The system, its components and the technologies used as a basis for the work are presented and the results of the experiment are analysed.
In the end, the observed performance and issues related to the system are discussed.
