Tiivistelmä:For a typical venture portfolio, two or three ventures out of ten might be big winners. An equal number will fail early. A detailed description of Omicron Computers story helps to illustrate that a careful but slow decision process is not enough in high-velocity, high-technology environments are summarized: 1. be alert to weak signals; 2. consider alternative options; 3. capitalize on your managers' instincts; 4.act boldly; 5. act decisively etc.
