Tiivistelmä:The present situation of marketing in the industrialized countries is outlined and on the basis of the "megatrends" of economic development in these countries, the possible changes in the tasks of marketing in the next 20 years are analyzed. In this period strategic marketing and global marketing will probably become the key words. Strategic marketing gives the possibility of permanent monitoring and correcting of the enterprise's competitive position in the various segments of its activities and provides to the executive managers "strategic alternatives". Global marketing reflects the growing importance of internationalization.
