| Tiivistelmä: | The issue of the quality of statistical data is taking on new dimensions during the current period of transition.It is outwardly reflected in the emergence of such problems as the lack of adequate content and comparability of statistical data, and the discontinuity of series.These problems are caused by the emergence of new phenomena and changes in existing ones.These processes are accompanied by alterations in statistical definitions and methodologies as well as by the introduction of new ones.The quality of statistical data can be also affected by developments in institutional and social conditions in the environment where statistical research is carried out.It particular, we have focused on the impact of transitional processes on the quality of statistical data in Slovenia. |
