Tiivistelmä: | This study attempts to sketch an initial picture of diversified micro firms (0-9 employees) in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).A framework of macroeconomic, legal, cultural, and strategic influences which appear to impact small firm diversification patterns, is outlined. Then, three archetypical formations of diversified micro-enterprises in CEE economies are outlined. These archetypes are compared with one type of diversified micro-firms in the United States.Suggestions for the successful management of diversified micro firms are offered. |
