| Tiivistelmä: | The CD-R (recordable compact disc) market is expanding at a rapid pace. According to predictions recently announced by this association, global demand for CD-R in 1997 will reach 200 million discs in contrast to this year's estimated result of 76 million discs. It is the sole recording media compatible with CD, and since existing CD players and CD-ROM drives can be used as is, it is indicated as a significant factor forming the driving force of global CD-ROM software market expansion. |
