| Tiivistelmä: | According to a survey of Japan, shipment quantity of agrochemicals during this period totaled 406,000 tons (preparation base), while shipment value totaled 387, 600 million yen, down 2% from a year earlier. Agricultural chemicals for orchards, vegetable gardens and dry field farming increased slightly, but those for paddy fields and others decreased. This result is partly ascribed to the changed form of preparations for paddy fields (introduction of 1-kg grains and blowable powder). Exports stood at 55, 200 million yen, a decrease of 5.1% from a year earlier. |
