| Tiivistelmä: | This article discusses the enlargement of EU in 2004 and the challenges that the new members brought along. Their industrial relations institutions and the mechanisms of extra-judicial conflict resolution are investigated. It is shown that successful dispute resolution is directly correlated with the nature, scope and quality of collective bargaining and social dialogue in the new member states. |
