| Tiivistelmä: | The paper presents findings from a survey on knowledge management in small- and medium-sized firms (SMEs) in Iceland. The results suggest that more managers need to consider the strengths and weaknesses ok KM and implement a formal KM strategy. In Icelandic firms the most common way of sharing tacit knowledge is encouraging face-to-face communication. Moreover, the findings show that KM could improve organisational and managerial as well as financial aspects of SMEs. |
