| Tiivistelmä: | Michael Foucault has had a great influence on the development of postmodern organization theory and analysis. This article re-evaluates his heritage by focusing to analyze four key components of the decentred agency: discourse, power/knowledge, embodiment and self-reflexivity. This leads to wider review of the unresolved ontological and epistemological issues raised by Foucaults thoughts of agency and change. According to the evaluation Foucaults concept of agency fails as a theorization of change. |
