| Tiivistelmä: | In the discourse of enterprise the “enterprising self” is defined as an ideal identity. This paper reports on qualitative research which explored the ability of the older worker to become part of this enterprise culture. The analyzed data was collected from an Australian government inquiry. An interpretation of the inquiry responses indicates clearly that enterprising self is an inherently aged construction and certain categories of identity are unable to adopt enterprising self identity. |
