| Tiivistelmä: | The development of design-centered research is reviewed in this article. The author pays particular attention to the activity of designing and the development of design for sustainability. Also related research methods and emerging forms of design research are considered with examples. The aim of this design-centered research approach is to develop eco-friendlier practices into material culture. |
