Tiivistelmä:In this article examines the ontological assumptions which appear in a qualitative study and in special in the multidisciplinary field media and communication study. The choice of arguments, their reasoning and justifying is often based on these suppositions. The author also considers the challenges which are related to the generalization in qualitative research.
