Tiivistelmä:This study presents an overview of prior studies on personality in the tourism and hospitality context. Using EBSCOHost's Hospitality Tourism Index, analyzed are published articles on the topic. In general, prior studies can be grouped into the seven dimensions of disposal, biological, intra-psychic, cognitive, social, and adjustment in personality research, and brand personality. Interestingly, the results show, despite the Internet being one of the major marketing channels for hospitality and tourism, only a small number of published articles to be related to consumers' online behaviour. Thus, it is proposed more research in this area in the future.
