| Tiivistelmä: | The use of information technology in tourism and hotel industries has increased, because it reduces costs, enhances operational efficiency and improves service quality and customer experience. The purpose of the paper is to review the articles published in tourism and hospitality research journals during 2005-2007 and examine the evolution of information technology use in these industries. According to the article, IT applications are becoming increasingly important for tourism and hospitality organizations and the for distribution and marketing of global organizations. |
