| Tiivistelmä: | A critical theory of value creation (henceforth as: vl-crn.) in cross-sector (as: cr-sct.) partnerships (as: p-ships) is developed by reformulating vl-crn. from the viewpoint of the beneficiary (here as: bfcry/s). After dealing with the role of the bfcry. in vl-crn. within Marxist, pragmatist and Frankfurt schools of thought, introduced is the construct of bfcry. voice to illustrate three distinct roles for bfcrys. to play in vl-crn. in cr-sct. p-ships: voice-receiving, voice-making and voice-taking. It is focused on generative tensions to bridge vl-crn. arguments across these three critical theories. |
