Tiivistelmä:During the last decades, the ideal typical business firm has served as a role model for public sector organizations. This article analyses an attempt to make the identity of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency more business like. Discussed are the following: i. whether the Agency has an organizational identity (here as: org-id.), and if not, what is aimed to be changed, ii. how the public org-id. is related to the new business identity. It is concluded among others that there is a "misery identity" and that there are five group-identities: Critical advocates, Enthusiasts, Experts, Followers, and Outsiders (original in Swedish).
