| Tiivistelmä: | This paper explores the relationship (herein as: r-ship) btw. training and development and performance (henceforth as: t-and-d-and-p.). It contributes to existing research by expanding on the subject by combining national and organizational factors via a hierarchical linear model to deal with t-and-d-and-p. r-ship in 14 European countries. The main findings refer to the importance of cultural, institutional and organizational factors in analysing the r-ship btw. t-and-d-and-p. |
