| Tiivistelmä: | The article examines the critical incidents involving health and safety communication between staff and clients in kayaking and rafting adventure services. A study of participant observations in non-motorised waterborne adventure tours in 19 different countries was conducted to determine the importance of communication on safety issues. The results indicate that good communication was vital in both maintaining customer satisfaction and rescuing them from dangerous life-threatening situations. |
