Tiivistelmä: | In order to indicate embodied carbon emissions (henceforth as: c-ems.) 37 products were labelled (here as: lbld). Their sales were recorded over a 3-month period. Green (below average), yellow (near average), and black (above average) footprints indicated c-ems. embodied in groceries. Overall, the change in purchasing pattern was small, with black-lbld. sales decreasing 6 percent and green-lbld. sales increasing 4 percent after labelling. Yet, with green-lbld. products being also the cheapest, the shift was more substantial, with a 20 per cent change of sales from black- to green-lbld. products. |
