| Tiivistelmä: | The purpose of the paper is to re-evaluate decommodification from the perspective of gender. The study is based on descriptive and regression analyses. The findings show that gender influences are significantly linked to decommodification outcomes. Increases in women's employment and declining fertility and political representation are positively associated with decommodification. |
