Tiivistelmä: | A strategic model for assessing the coherence btw. companies' knowledge (henceforth as: knwl.) strategies (here as: strs.) and their business strs. and in their competitive and organisational contexts is proposed. In analysing knowledge management (KM) literature, there are three principal strs.: (1) knwl. development (internal or external, herein as: i/e.), (2) knwl. sharing (codification or personalisation) and (3) knwl. exploitation (i/e.). These three strs. and six related policies are set into the context-content-process dimensions of Pettigrew's model to create a useful framework for strategic analysis and a model to assess the coherence of companies' knwl. strategy. The model can be used to evaluate how an existing knwl. strategy aligns with a company's characteristics etc. |
