Tiivistelmä:Using data from over 120 organizational leaders and nearly 460 of their direct reports, this study tested a value-centered leadership model including leader stakeholder and economic values, follower values congruence, and responsible leadership outcomes.
Based on structural equation modeling analyses, it is shown that leader stakeholder values predicted transformational (herein as: tr-f.) leadership, whereas leader economic values were associated with transactional leadership. Follower values congruence was strongly associated with transformational leadership, unrelated to transactional leadership, and partially mediated the relationships between tr-f. leadership and both follower organizational citizenship behaviours and follower beliefs etc.
