| Tiivistelmä: | The purpose of this paper is to explore differences between married couples and cohabiting couples in the likelihood of pooling their economic resources. The study is based on Norwegian survey data. The study shows that married couples are more likely to pool their economic resources than cohabiting couples. The results also reveals that cohabiting couples with marriage plans are more likely to to pool their economic resources than couples without intentions to marry. |
