| Tiivistelmä: | This article concentrates on the influences of reduction in slack level following downsizing on innovation output. Two hypotheses are created to investigate the total impacts and varied yearly effects. The hypotheses were tested with data from a panel of UK companies that downsized between 1997 and 2003. The findings indicate that the level of downsizing has only temporary effects on innovation output. |
