| Tiivistelmä: | This paper examines how fundamental labour rights, specified in international framework agreements, are executed and monitored in subcontracting chains. Labour's capacity for workplace-based monitoring is shown to be influenced by factors such as ownership structures, the societal context, and, essentially, the local labour control institutions and dynamics. |
