| Tiivistelmä: | The environmental implications of reuse, reclamation, and recycling to save landfill space, fuel, and costs are becoming more important for organizations. The focus of existing research on reverse logistics (hereafter as: r-l.) has been on the economic and environmental aspects of sustainability (here as: sust.), social sustainability (herein as: soc-sust.) has yet to be completely explored. This paper focuses on addressing this gap by linking various sust. indicators with various r-l. practices to develop a profile of r-l. for soc-sust. By compiling practical, international examples from practice and research, the structure of soc-sust. is used herein to highlight r-l. for social sustainability. |
