Tiivistelmä: | This article features a study on the role of planning intensity for project success that is based on multi-respondant data of 130 innovation projects in hospitals. In addition to showing that planning supports complex service systems innovation projects, the study contributes to innovation management research in various ways. The results indicate that project planing increases intra-team coordination and that business planning directly boosts project success. Implications for hospital and innovation management, and future research are discussed. |
