Tiivistelmä: | This study had two major aims: 1. to examine the construct validity of the Finnish 58-item Corporate Ethical Virtues scale (Kaptein in J. Org. Behav. 29, p.923-947) and 2. to examine whether the associations between managers' perceptions of ethical organizational culture and their occupational well-being are indirectly linked by ethical strain. Based on a sample with over 900 managers from different organizations, in middle and upper management levels, aged 25-68 years, the results of the confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) provided support to the hypothesized 8-factor structure of the CEV scale. In addition, it was also found that the high intercorrelations of the factors can be explained by the 2nd-order factor of ethical culture etc. |
