| Abstract: | In 1990 Philips Electronics went through a crisis as its share price plunged. Operation Centurion was launched as a broad turnaround programme designed to revitalize the company. Probably the most up-to-date thinking in the field of management has been applied to tackle the size and complexity of this challenge, and progress is now evident. This paper describes the design of the change process, the key experiences so far and the implications for leadership and management development. |
