Tiivistelmä:The author states that Britain is not only unsure about its place in Europe, it is also uncertain about what sort of country it wants to be. The author answers the question whether Britain is falling apart. It certainly has its fair share of problems. The author states that although Americans steal lead the way in murdering one another, the inhabitance of England and Wales run the biggest risk after the Australians of being burgled, robbed or assaulted. Then the author states that Britain seems to be headed toward greater economic stability and answers the question whether things might be better steel if it were to adopt the euro and join Euroland. In the conclusion the author states that the decision about joining the Euro will be political rather than economic.
