| Tiivistelmä: | This article presents reasons why workplace conflicts are not so useful to the organization. The positive functions of conflicts are found only in limited set of circumstances. In those cases also negative functions occur in parallel with positive ones. Moreover methodological grounds do not support the idea about valuable consequences of conflict management. According to the author the cooperative conflict management aims to prevent workplace conflict to turn too serious. More multi-level and comparing research about conflict and no-conflict conditions is needed. |
