| Tiivistelmä: | This paper reports on two research studies exploring the range, frequency and causes of compassion at work. The second part of the study offers an in depth narrative analysis of the consequences of compassion in the context of work community. The paper documents that compassion takes place in all levels of organization and it is not related in particular background variables. The results from the narratives improve the understanding of the organization and its culture and members. |
