| Tiivistelmä: | There are no independent calculations of mobility costs for the FRG so the estimations used in the USA serve as the basis of this survey. It is proved that displaced workers should be provided with compensating wage differentials because if they are not, social losses are the consequence. According to German regulations in case of mass lay-offs the firms must pay severance payments. |
